Plastics Injection Molding Project Manager- Full-Time

Location: Rockford, IL, 61104

What you will be doing:

• Develop a project plan, assemble a project team, and guide the project team through all stages of the process for all assigned projects.

• Work closely with our stakeholders and customers to identify all project requirements.

• Create presentations to describe project proposals for internal reviews and approval.

• Gather project costs for quotations.

• Evaluate the project impact on current manufacturing operations, including the creation of line layouts.

• Direct and assist the setup, installation, and launch of new product lines, machines, or tools related to assigned projects.

• Maintain constant communication with internal and external contacts.

• Participate in specific cost-reduction programs.

Experience you will need:

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.

• A minimum of 5-10 years in an injection molding manufacturing environment.

• Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Projects.

• Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D design software.

• Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
