Special Education Teacher/Resource Specialist - Contract

Location: Salinas, CA

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from a Teaching program.

• Current M/M or M/S Credential as a Special Education Teacher in CA.

• Experience in a school setting.

• Proven experience in developing and implementing IEPs.

• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Job Description

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Adapt instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Assess students' abilities and create teaching plans.

• Adapt learning materials to suit students' needs.

• Track and reflect on students' progress.

• Monitor students' behavioral patterns and arrange interventions if necessary.

• Manage classroom crises and resolve conflicts.

• Collaborate with parents and school staff to track students' progress.

• Collaborate with school counselors, occupational therapists, and psychologists to assist children's development and socialization.
