Family Law Associate Attorney - Full-time

Location: Cape Coral, FL

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a current Florida Bar Member in good standing

• Experience in pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, mediation, trials, etc..

• Board Certification in family law 

Job Description

• Managing high-level/high-asset cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case

• Preparing for depositions

• Reviewing standard court documents

• Assessing cases and strategic planning while communicating with clients and documenting all time dedicated to the case

• Performing legal research

• Drafting legal documents

• Preparing court filings

• Educating on recent court cases, laws, local rules, and regulations

• Representing clients in family law court

• Reviewing expenses and income of client and opposing client for use in settlement and/or trial

• Working in a team with an assigned paralegal
